A Break

She gave me everything for over a year and a half. But I came up short. I feel like I'm losing a part of me. A beautiful, intelligent, and extremely special part of my existence. Every memory stings my eyes with melancholy tears. If only I were a better partner. If only I had done things differently. She gave me everything. I love her. I tell her, 'thank you.' She made life worth living. She made me who I am. I only hope she comes back to me. I only want her to be happy. Even if that means I'm no longer in the picture. Thank you for being my adoring partner, Amanda. You make me so happy. I love you so much.
